Songbird

I started my first blog in 2003, but really didn't do it seriously until March 15, 2004. Made the switch from Blogger to Typepad in September, 2005, and then transitioned to this blog in 2008. I am a reader, a knitter and a music lover, as well as a writer.

I grew up in Virginia, but have lived in Maine (aka Vacationland) for 20 years. I live in Portland with my husband, three children from my previous marriage, two cats (Baby and Puss Puss) and two Bernese Mountain Dogs (the Children of the Second Marriage), Molly and Sam.
